Chau Bich Hong (Anne) was born & raised in the suburb of Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. In 2015, she moved to Thailand to study Computer Graphics & Multimedia at Bangkok University while learning Thai. After one year, she transferred to the Thai campus to pursue her Film degree. She stayed in Thailand to work as an editor after graduating & continues making films in her free time.

Hong’s work revolves around experimenting with simple & childish concepts to create something that can evoke the audience’s repressed thoughts & emotions. She views cinema as a powerful medium of storytelling & is fascinated by its capabilities to express abstract matters within limited form.

Hong values the traditional process of making art & believes contemporary artists must make more efforts to protect their unique visions against mediocrity in this chaotic era of growing technology. Her vocation is to search for the truth in life & tell stories from her heart.
